About This Shikara

About Floating Market Shikara

Early-morning Shikara ride through the famous Dal Lake floating vegetable market.

The Dal Lake Floating Vegetable Market is one of the most unique bazaars in the world — open only in the early morning hours, it is run entirely by boat. Our Floating Market Shikara takes you right into the action, navigating through rows of vegetable sellers, flower boats and spice vendors before the rest of Srinagar wakes up.
